NOVA Motel

The room was tidy, and they provide toiletries and drinks. We had a nice view of the beach, and the staff were pleasant. The sky bike and zip line are right across the way. I’d happily stay here again.

The owners were so helpful and accommodating. They were great.

I’d been here once before. The owner was friendly, and even though the interior is dated, it was reasonably clean. The ocean view through the huge windows was lovely, and there was plenty of parking. But the bed was a dealbreaker. I lifted a pillow and found four hairs, black marks on both pillows, and grime on the sheets. I only noticed at bedtime, so I felt uneasy all night; if I’d found it earlier, I would’ve asked to switch rooms. There was a big hole in the towel too, and its threads were coming apart. I also couldn’t find a separate heating control in the room.

The owners were incredibly kind, and I was comfortable throughout my six-day, five-night business trip. I’d come back. The room faced the fountain square and had a great ocean view. It’s an older place, but clean and cared for, with strong air conditioning and no smell. Out of all the motels I’ve stayed in while traveling for work around the country, this was the cleanest and friendliest.
