Airtel Busan

The room was enough for me to check out and book somewhere else within half an hour. The place looked nothing like the photos, and I think this listing should be removed for app users' safety. It gave me the feeling that a crime had happened there, or might happen. The address took me along an isolated driveway in an industrial area to the lobby's glass door. It was half open and wouldn't shut, which worried me, though I decided to go in anyway. In the elevator, I saw a woman who seemed to be a regular. She had a black eye and other facial injuries that didn't look self-inflicted, which was concerning and made me wonder about the area. My room was dark and unlocked when I arrived. The secondary lock was broken, and there wasn't a safety lock. There were no sheets; the duvet was dirty and stained, the walls were stained and damaged, and there was hair in the bathtub along with mold. None of the advertised amenities were there. The wood floor and toilet were the cleanest, nicest parts. I booked another place in central Busan.

After 10.5 months of backpacking around Asia and staying in many different places, I've never been treated as badly as I was here. I had a connecting flight in Busan and wanted somewhere to rest for about six hours between flights. I deliberately arrived at 10:00 AM. The AGODA app made early check-in seem like a common option, and I'd already paid for the room at the airport. There was nobody at reception, so I found a cleaner who helped me reach the owner. I was sure I'd paid for early check-in and asked him to check my reservation on AGODA. He didn't check it. He started shouting at me aggressively. I even offered to pay an extra fee so I could get in and rest, but he still refused. He shouted several times that he "doesn’t care about me" and told the cleaner to leave me there alone. Even though I'd paid, I never got into the hotel because of how rude the owner was. I went to Hotel 1954 instead. It was lovely, the receptionist was kind, and the price was great.

I booked on short notice and didn't expect much for the price, but the place was way more than I'd bargained for. The refurbished Agoda pictures are misleading. The whole place gave me horror movie vibes. The room door was partly open, and I went straight into fight-or-flight mode. The light was on inside, but after looking around I couldn't see anyone. The room was extremely run down and needs a lot of care. Both of the two beds were rock hard. The shower pressure was weak, and unfortunately the spa bath didn't work. It's in the back of a property, with a sign pointing the way. A taxi is probably best for getting there, since the bus stops down the road and there's a bit of a walk. There was no one at reception, but my name and key were left on a keyboard. Seeing keys for arriving guests sitting out in the open was concerning. The reception smelled musty, was poorly lit, and looked very outdated. There is a lift to the rooms. It's fairly close to the airport by taxi, but still not very accessible, and it's a fair way from central areas. I'd look at other options even with the price.

The photos made the room look great, but in person it was disappointing and felt misleading. It seemed like we were being scammed, and Airtel Busan hotelfished. We asked reception for room service and a change to a better room, but they wouldn't do either. As first-time visitors and travelers, we were fooled by the lower price. Don't book this motel again. Give our money back, you bad, evil scammers who just want our money and won't do anything to fix things. God is always watching, and one day you'll be punished by God.
