Ananti at Busan Cove

The deposit was a shock. I'd paid in full for three nights before arriving, but they still charged the equivalent of $600, to be refunded after the stay. That deposit was more than the cost of the booking, which is unacceptable. They collect every penny, and compared with similar-level hotels in S Korea, everything is overpriced. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. We also found out after arrival that most facilities, including the swimming pool and women’s sauna, came with significant extra charges. Those fees weren't clearly listed or explained in the property details when we booked. The overall value and experience didn't match what we'd reasonably expected.

I was frustrated by the poor service when we arrived, and I really think the five-star rating is exaggerated. There was no bellboy service, and the receptionist's English was poor. The staff weren't warm or welcoming in the way I'd expect from a five-star hotel. They also charged extra for facilities without making that clear.

The short walk along Ananti Cove was beautiful, with the vast Namhae sea spread out in front of you. It's quick, but the view makes it really memorable.

The hotel itself had great rooms, fun activities, and really good food, but the staff ruined the experience for me. At breakfast I waited in line for 30 minutes, even though half the chairs were empty. When I politely asked a staff member what was going on, they told me not to speak and to wait aside. Later my friend asked why I wasn't being let in, and they said it was because I hadn't spoken. I felt humiliated and discriminated against. They spoke only Korean to foreigners and wouldn't explain anything. Completely unacceptable.
