Ara House Pension

The owner was really kind and nice. It’s convenient, with the beach nearby as well as Dongbu Busan Outlet, Lotte World, Yonggungsa Temple, and other places.

It was hard to find the entrance at first, since there’s no separate front desk and the entrance is at the back right of the building. Once inside, I liked everything. The place was clean, and I stayed in the largest room, Room 302, which accommodates 8 people. It’s a duplex with two beds upstairs. The room uses a password key, and they texted me the password after I completed the additional payment. Arriving early doesn’t mean you can check in, but you can leave your luggage. Lotte World is less than 5 minutes away by taxi, and there’s a beach, Starbucks, and an E-Mart convenience store right in front.

The whole building carried the sound of heavy footsteps, which got a bit annoying, and the pension next door was noisy too. There’s no elevator. It was clean overall, the heating worked well, and you can see some of the sea. They also provided a barbecue area.

The veranda felt a bit cramped for barbecuing, but the living room was spacious and excellent. It still seems like a decent choice.
