The biggest drawback for me was the daily closure from 11am to 3pm for cleaning. After we came back at 3, I couldn't see anything in the room that looked cleaned. Staff also knock if you're a few minutes late checking out. In the men's toilet, the washing pipes in the attached toilets didn't work, though they were fine in the ladies' toilet. The staff were good, helpful, and spoke English very well. It's close to Haeundae beach and Haeundae metro station, gate no. 5, and you can cook in the kitchen during the permitted hours. I still wouldn't return. For standard double rooms, I wouldn't recommend booking here, since you may find good hotels like busan station business hotel for the same price if location isn't important to you. The hotel's rating feels overrated for the standard double rooms, which I'd rate 1.5/5. The reception and double rooms are on the 5th floor, while the dorms are on the 6th. I don't know about the dorms. The lounge is on the 6th floor, with chairs, a big sofa, and a TV; you can watch or talk with others until 11pm, when the lights go off. The kitchen has five dining tables and 15 chairs, a micro-oven, microwave, coffee maker, two cooking heaters, two sinks, plates, dishes, a 42 inch TV, and other utensils. It's clean, but the scratched plates and dishes should be replaced. The kitchen closes after 10pm. Breakfast is served from 8-10 am, with bread, butter, jam, and juice. The double room has one bed, an approximately 18 inch TV, two lockers, a heater, and air conditioning. It's about 8ft x 15 ft. Losing a locker key costs 10 k won. There's a fire distinguisher and fire escape device. The wash rooms behind the 6th-floor lounge are separate and clean, with toiletries, two toilets, three showers, and a hairdryer. Ladies' toilets and bathrooms are on the 5th floor. The location is convenient for visiting Haeundae sea beach. The room and facilities details don't change my view of the standard double room.
