The dark room had little going for it, and I don't want to stay here again. I booked a twin room, but what I got was upsetting. The owner didn't even apologize, which was ridiculous. The sink barely drained, the bathroom door wasn't connected, and the only heating was an electric blanket. It was the worst.

The room looked really pretty, but I wouldn't come back. The sink had no running water and the drain smelled awful. In another room, I could hear water rushing loudly in the drain even though nobody had turned on the water.

The one good thing was being near Haeundae. For 130,000 won a night, this motel was a terrible deal. There were no standard rooms, so I ended up in a semi-premium room, and I heard Yeogiyotta won the 2018 Accommodation Award. I want to punch Yeogiyotta in the face. The room was filthy and the first day's housekeeping was sloppy. Coffee sticks were there but no cups, and there was no toilet paper in either the bathroom or bedroom. The bathroom bin hadn't been emptied, and the holder had only empty rolls. The air conditioner smelled like a stale mop, as if it hadn't been cleaned for ages. There was nowhere to eat, and the toilet looked modern but was old-fashioned and uncomfortable. The bathroom was dim and slippery, and without a door it left the room humid. I had to run the smelly air conditioner while showering. After the first night, I left my key behind when I checked out. When I returned, it looked as if they'd cleaned, but only the bedsheets had been spread out. The amenities were still lying around and hadn't been replenished; there were no towels, so I nearly had a serious problem when showering. There was still very little toilet paper, which I left as it was. Later, the central light wouldn't switch off while I was trying to sleep, so I woke up in the middle of the night and had to call staff.

The room change came quickly after I called the front desk about something crawling in the bathroom, but they said they'd leave the key in the elevator so I could go to my assigned room. Shouldn't someone have come in person, apologized, and shown me the new room? That feels like basic service. I'd already drowned the thing with water, but changing rooms still didn't settle my nerves. I drove five hours from Seoul after booking a deluxe room, and the place was a mess, worse than Gyeonggi-do. The decor, sink, PC, bathtub, and toilet were all disappointing. The toilet wouldn't work, and after struggling with it for ages I had to lower it manually. I spend more than half the year in motels and hotels, and this was the first time in a year I'd seen one with wheels. It was Sunday, there was nobody around, and the parking lot was spacious, but they still insisted on leaving the keys. My car is full of equipment worth more than an expensive house, so I was anxious. They call this a three-star hotel, but it seemed worse than a business motel. Even with a free ticket, I wouldn't go back.

You can walk to Haeundae Beach, but I couldn't get past how dirty the place was. I understand the facilities are old, though the holiday crowds might be part of why it was so unclean. They really need to pay closer attention to housekeeping. Please don't use the bathtub.
