Cotice The Ground

The location was great, and the staff were friendly, but my first couple of nights were scary. There was a strange noise in the middle of the night and the lights kept flickering. I asked to change rooms, but the hotel was fully booked.

The shower was amazing, and the staff were especially friendly, polite, and upbeat. They explained everything clearly, spoke very good English, and were happy to offer a one-hour late checkout if you left a review, which I loved. The rooms are clean and modern, with a simple, minimal style. It's one of the best affordable hotels I've stayed at in Korea. I'd recommend it to travelers who'll be out sightseeing around Busan more than spending time in the room.

We slept badly because the mattress and pillows were wrapped in slippery plastic covers. It made the bed feel more like one in a cheap hostel than in the premium room we paid for. The room itself was fairly spacious, with a nice sea view and a good location. It had appliances like a stove and washing machine, though unfortunately we weren't allowed to use them.
