The owner’s got a really cute dog, and the place is comfortable, close to Haeundae beach. Breakfast is just toast and coffee, so not great, but otherwise it’s pretty good. 😄

WARNING! I experienced sexual harassment from the owner. He’s 47 and drinks every day. I found him dangerous. I don’t know whether he has tried to force himself on a young guest before, but please be cautious and keep your distance. He told me a sad story about grieving and being isolated in Busan, and said he often took guests out to show them local spots. Don’t accept his invitations or drink with him. He tried to get me drunk. He grabbed my arm, held my neck, and sucked on it. When I pushed him away, he used more force to hold me still and squeezed my neck. It lasted only a few seconds, less than 10, but it was horrible and inappropriate. I felt in danger and attacked, and the memory keeps replaying in my head. I cry every day and feel disgusted that my body was used against my will for his pleasure. He’s old enough to be my father. It caused trauma even though it was so brief. Edit: I first used the word “assault,” but I’m taking that back because I don’t know whether it legally or objectively qualifies. I don’t want to discredit that term for people who have experienced real violent assault, or accuse him of something he didn’t do. The incident was extremely short, 10 seconds at most, and I’m describing how I felt.

I stayed there last year and found it really well located. Everything was clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff were so friendly and nice. I’d recommend this guesthouse if you’re visiting Busan.

The outdoor and shared areas were really comfortable, and the place itself was clean and comfy for a cheap price. The owner was friendly and speaks English.
