Foxy Motel

The owner was so kind. He even did my laundry for free when he realized I was a foreign tourist, and gave me an umbrella when it rained. I'm really grateful. The room was a bit old and the bathroom floor a little dirty, but his kindness made that feel less important. The price was reasonable, it's a two-minute walk from Haeundae city center, and I could happily have stayed a few more days. I highly recommend it.

We stayed in a dog-friendly room with our two dogs. They had a dog bed, potty pad, and bowls ready. I brought my own supplies, but used theirs anyway. I did wish there were dog stairs. It was cheaper than other places even on the weekend, and close to Haeundae Beach and restaurants. The TV started switching itself off and on while I was watching in the evening. They said it was an electrical problem and told me to turn it on again in 20 or 30 minutes, which felt absurd. I'd never had that happen at a place I'd stayed before. Eventually I changed rooms, though I wish they'd done that right away. I could also hear the shower or water in the next room's bathroom very loudly while watching TV, which startled me. The bed had an electric blanket, so I slept warmly.

For 130,000 KRW on a weekend, I had a twin room with a double and single bed. The price was relatively low, 10,000-20,000 KRW cheaper than other options, with ample parking and a spot close to Haeundae. The room felt more like a motel than a hotel, probably better for business trips or friends than couples. Dust on the fan and a musty AC smell summed up the poor quality at Foxy Hotel. I wouldn't trust the coffee pot here. The hot water worked well, and smoking is allowed, so it could suit friends or business travelers who just need a place to sleep for the night. Your call.

The price was affordable and the facilities were really good for what I paid. Staff were kind and took good care of me during my three-day, two-night trip from Seoul to Busan. I'd like to come back.
