GNB Hotel

For two months I’ve been trying to get an invoice for my stay, contacting the hotel directly and through Booking. They haven’t replied to any of my messages. It’s been extremely unprofessional and very inconvenient. If you need proper travel documentation, be aware that getting support from them is almost impossible.

A decent 3 star hotel within walking distance of Gukje market. The rooms are small, and the breakfast buffet has only a few options. The location is the main plus, so don’t expect anything luxurious.

The room smelled like pee when we arrived. We asked to move, and the receptionist went up in the elevator to check whether we were telling the truth about the smell. I’ve never seen that before. She did change our room, but the mirror in the new one was covered in mold. The rooms aren’t clean and the place smells bad. There’s no microwave in the lobby or ice machine. The photos are completely false, even the breakfast picture, and there’s no hot tub. Breakfast felt like a real scam: very basic food and no coffee choice. This hotel isn’t worth four stars. People who leave positive comments must never have stayed at a four-star or higher hotel. Just don’t choose it. Pass.

The service was extremely poor. Our slippers and toothbrush were taken from the room, the corridors were inexplicably hot, and at checkout they charged us 5000 wons for a glass that had accidentally broken.
