It felt like a prison, and it’s the worst hotel I’ve stayed in in the developed world. One staff member was ridiculously rude. I was there with my Korean friend, who felt ashamed that my first night in Korea was spent at this hotel. Avoid it!

The nearby traditional market and regular grocery stores are only a few meters away, which was handy. I also found the staff friendly, the room clean, and the TV, internet, computer, and Wi-Fi all worked well. For 110,000 won, I got three nights including a Saturday, without bargaining, and it seemed like a very low rate for the area. Rooms were a decent size, bigger than some nearby places I checked. It’s set back from the beach, fish markets, bars, and cafes, so it’s quiet, though there’s no sea view. I walked around quite a bit before finding it: the places by the beach cost two or three times as much, and some of the spots farther toward the subway were pretty nasty for the same price. I can’t think of anything bad to say. It may be the cheapest place around here, and I’ll stay again regularly. A great find.
