Hound Hotel Sasang

I stayed here for an early flight and would use it again. There's a convenience store and Starbucks nearby, plus 24-hour restaurants. Homeplus and Emart are right outside Gwabeop Renaissance Station, and the busy Sasang Station is a 10-minute walk away. The area around Gwabeop Renaissance Station did smell of exhaust from the large construction site and car repair shop, though. For a room this cheap, I was surprised by how much space there was. The bed, TV, and computer desk were all large, and the room was very clean. Compared with rooms at the same price in Seomyeon or Nampo-dong, this felt about twice as spacious. It came with all the usual amenities, including a hair straightener, and two free bottles of water during the stay. There isn't room cleaning service. A receptionist who spoke fluent Japanese was there when I visited, though apparently not every day, and carefully showed me how to use the Korean TV and air conditioner remotes. Checkout was simple: leave the room card in the box inside the elevator. Thanks for the hospitality.

Getting to Gimhae Airport is convenient since the hotel is near the subway, though you can hear quite a bit between rooms.

I was grateful that they let us charge our electric car ahead of time in the parking lot. We came here for a short sleep before an early departure from Gimhae Airport, and the hotel was close by and convenient.

Booking was handy because the hotel is near the station before Gimpo Airport, and Netflix is available. The location also makes it good value for money. There wasn't a PC, though, and I had hoped to play some games. I found long hair that didn't seem to be mine and odd stains here and there on the bedding. It looked clean at first, but closer inspection was pretty gross. If that sort of thing doesn't bother you, it's probably usable. The listing said two Starbucks coffees were included, but there weren't any, and nobody explained it. There wasn't even coffee in the room, lol.
