Noel Business Hotel

The rooms are quiet, spacious, and clean, with comfortable beds and a good bathroom. This is a handy business hotel in Haeundae Beach, a couple of blocks from the beach and three or four blocks from the main entertainment streets. Breakfast is basic, but they do have it: toast with jam and butter, boiled eggs, and a good coffee machine that makes proper coffee.

This hotel’s charges feel opportunistic. When I booked, I specifically chose free cancellation and payment on arrival. I’ve since made the payment, and was then told that cancelling would cost 21% of the full room rate. That’s confusing and unacceptable, since the booking page didn’t clearly show this condition and the terms seemed hidden or deliberately obscured. The supposedly free-cancellation, deferred-payment rate was also higher than the non-refundable rate with immediate payment, which makes the charge even harder to justify. To me, this is misleading and comes close to deceptive conduct, giving the impression that the hotel is taking advantage of customers through unclear terms and opportunistic fees.

We spent three nights here as a family. The hotel and lobby are very small, but the free breakfast was appreciated, and the pantry area with its water dispenser gave us a nice spot to enjoy our food. A simple, pleasant stay.

I ended up here on an impromptu trip to Busan and had a really good experience. The location in Haeundae beach is great, close to shops and other amenities, restaurants, the beach, and the Aquarium. The staff were tidy and professional in their service, and the rooms were clean. I’d recommend staying here.
