SOLARIA NISHITETSU HOTEL Busan

Laundry costs are charged per item, as at other big chain hotels, so we used a wonderful laundromat a block away after reading another reviewer's comment. The hotel is next to the “food street,” though it wasn't too lively during our visit, perhaps because we came during the Chuseok holiday. There are plenty of bars around, including transgender and hipster. Being close to the major bus and train station made travel very convenient. We stayed in a double twin room with two double beds, which made our family of four very comfortable.

The breakfast menu is great, and there are lots of places within walking distance. The location is strategic, though the room felt a bit cramped.

The hotel is damn small, and so are the bed and bathroom. Worst of all, the shower head's side protective ring was rusted and cut one of our crew members. Unbearable.

The location is handy for subway lines 1 and 2, with plenty of places to eat nearby, and the price was fair. I slept comfortably, helped by the good air conditioning, and the bed was comfortable too. There’s a large mirror, free access to the gym, and Wi-Fi that’s decent enough. The shower pressure was good, and the soap, shampoo, and conditioner smelled pretty nice. There’s also a wowpass charging station on the reception floor. After making a lot of soju disappear, I appreciated that the bathroom floor was big enough to lie down on. The mini-fridge does make noise, though.
