The room was clean, and the beach view from the small balcony was a real highlight. There's also a convenience store at the entrance on the first floor. Fresh towels and complimentary bottled water were provided, though daily cleaning costs extra. Getting into the room was the hard part. There isn't a regular front desk, just self-check-in kiosks on the second floor of this shared building. Don't mistake it for Grab Ocean Songdo, whose lobby is on the third floor. You have to download an app that's only in Korean to get your key. With no staff around apart from cleaning crews, the language barrier made the process tough for an international visitor. Urban Stay Busan could be a good option if you're comfortable with that setup, but I'd have a hard time recommending it to most international travelers without an English interface or better help. The room itself was pleasant.

The rooms at Urbanstay Busan Songdo Beach are modern and thoughtfully laid out, with a comfortable feel after a day out. The beach view rooms are especially nice, and Songdo Beach and nearby attractions are easy to reach from here. Common areas were well kept, the lobby felt welcoming, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. For the quality of the stay and service, I thought it was good value. It made for a high quality visit, whether traveling for work or a break. Five stars.

The balcony room had a great sea view, and it was quiet at night. Check-in takes some figuring out first.

We got back around 8:30 and found the room unbearably hot. An email had gone out at 8:01 pm saying the AC would be unavailable from 8 pm to 8 am, but why wasn't that explained earlier? The room is tiny with no ventilation, so sleeping in the heat was rough. The windows open, but there are no screens, and mosquitoes came in. I tried to turn on the AC, but it wouldn't work.

The ocean is only about 50 meters away, and the rooms are really nice. Getting in was simple with the pin codes sent by email. The windows have flyscreens, and the air conditioning worked without any problems. It was available around the clock during the warmer months.
