WA Hotel Nampo

At Nampo, the hotel is very conveniently located. My room was big and clean, the bathtub was large and clean, and the thick walls kept outside noise out completely. They cleaned every day and left five bottles of water daily. The hotel also supplied toothbrushes, face and body lotion, plus condoms and gel. The price was very affordable. My only complaint was that the receptionist spoke only Korean. I was very satisfied with the stay.

The only good things were the location and the huge rooms. The place itself was disgusting and strange, with poor cleaning and smelly towels and beds. I couldn't get anything from the man at reception or even figure out what he was there for. When we arrived, they gave us condoms and lubricant.

Getting around was easy, with subway and bus stops right around the corner. There are lots of large shops and restaurants nearby, both local and chain places, and the market is just down the road. My triple room was roomy, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom was probably the biggest I've had in a hotel, with a great smart toilet. The facilities were good too, including a mini fridge stocked at no charge.

We didn't feel comfortable enough to stay, so we decided not to extend our visit. The place is presented as a three-star hotel, but our room and bathroom were dirty, with leftover plastic packaging, soap, and toothpaste from the previous guest. The bed linen was dirty as well, with a mark on the pillow. The corridor smelled of cigarettes. The air conditioning was hard to switch on and impossible to adjust, and lights from electronic devices shone around the room all night. The window was barely there. On arrival, the man at reception wasn't very communicative.
