Buan Sea Wind Pension

After visiting Naesosa Temple and having a salted seafood set meal at Gomso Palace Restaurant, I came by this cafe. It’s a beautiful place, run alongside a pension, and the ocean view makes it nice to sit and take a break. The interior looks carefully thought out. The coffee was just okay, though a window seat gives you a lovely sunset view.

We found the place on Yanolja while planning a family trip to Buan and hadn’t expected much, but the owner was incredibly kind. She explained that the room wasn’t ready yet and we’d need to wait a little, and she thoughtfully reduced the extra charge for the kids. It seemed family-run, and her sons were friendly too. We had a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

A nice hidden spot, and there didn’t seem to be many people around. I saw one family playing on the sand, though maybe they were guests. It’s a beachfront pension and cafe, with teddy bears and books that make good photo props. The drinks aren’t cheap, but I guess that’s worth it. It isn’t listed on T Map, and might get more customers if it were. The staff have too many tattoos, though.

The pension prices are reasonable, and there’s a cafe with breakfast and brunch on the first floor. From the rooms you get a lovely sea view, and the place has a charming, slightly Italian feel.
