SONO Belle BYEONSAN

The front desk staff were really kind and made the stay feel welcoming. The location was great, too.

You can walk to Gyeokpo Beach from here, and there's a water park on site, so it works well for families. The rooms are standard Korean resort style, nothing fancy.

I couldn't shower standing up because there was no curtain and water would've gone everywhere. That seemed odd, since their own photo showed one. The place itself is okay, not especially bad, though it does fall short in some ways. It won't be the worst place you'll find.

Everything around the resort felt quiet and peaceful, whether I was by the sea, checking out nearby sights, or just staying in. That's part of why I visit Byeonsan Peninsula. It's a bit of a trip, but less crowded than many Korean tourist spots, where traffic and restaurant lines can eat up the time you might spend relaxing. I like being able to enjoy nature more closely and try the small local eateries. Sono Belle Byeonsan is a seaside resort in Buan, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea, with views of the West Sea and natural places like Byeonsanbando National Park nearby. It has standard rooms and luxury suites, as well as a water park, restaurants, and spa facilities. Families and people who enjoy nature can get to hiking trails, beaches, and scenic spots from there.
