Masan Amor Hotel

The room looked bright when I opened the window in the morning, but it was filthy. The refrigerator had a thick layer of dust inside, and the vanity, TV, and window sills showed no sign of being cleaned. They’d just put water in the fridge. The bedding felt gritty and rustled like sand, so I kept running my hand over it, telling myself it couldn’t really be that bad. When I checked out, I asked them to clean properly. They answered, “Why didn’t you tell me?” I was stunned. Isn’t cleaning the basic thing to do before a guest arrives? I’ve stayed in plenty of places, so don’t be taken in by the exterior.

The room was fine for drinking and sleeping, and its condition wasn’t bad. There’s a 7-Eleven downstairs, which made it easy to pick up snacks. I stayed for a day because there weren’t other pensions nearby. There were some sloppy details inside. The sink wobbled, which felt dangerous, and the bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut. The elevator also had an unpleasant, strange smell. Looking out the window, I couldn’t see the sea, just the motel with the famous name 'Kojaja'.

It’s fairly clean, and there’s underground parking. If you’re arriving late, they’ll let you know ahead of time that valet parking is available. They sometimes hand out coupons for the convenience store downstairs too.

The couple who own the place are middle-aged and really kind. The convenience store shares a spot with the hotel counter, and the parking is excellent, both underground and above ground. Great value for the price.
