Cheonan DRAPA Hotel

The location is great, the room is spacious, and the price is low. I stayed several nights. When I pointed out a spot with mold, they replaced it right away and had someone come fix it. Thanks for including breakfast at this price. ^^ There’s cup ramen too, though it isn’t shown in the picture.

I booked the VIP room. It was clean and comfortable, though the remote didn’t work properly, maybe because its batteries were dead. The tiled floor left me unsure whether to keep my shoes on. I followed other guests and took them off, but still felt uneasy about it. Breakfast wasn’t included, but VIP rooms and up do come with ramen. There’s a styler and a massage chair. That chair hurt, though. There are plenty of better ones...

The bathtub was the one thing I really liked. The water pressure and temperature made it feel like a hot spring, and I enjoyed the bath a lot. It’s also only 30 seconds from a large E-mart, so I could walk to my favorite shops, restaurants, and Starbucks. But don’t trust the blog reviews, they’re all sponsored. The room smelled really musty; I switched rooms once and could still smell it. The facilities were old and not very clean, with mold in the bathroom too. Even for a motel, it’s hard to believe it smells like this these days.

I’ve stayed here more than 20 times for business over the years and always liked the value. On my latest visit, though, room 702 smelled strongly of cigarettes as soon as I walked in, and it was still bad the next morning. Could they let guests know whether non-smoking rooms are available? The Type-C charger in that room didn’t work either.
