Cheongju Ochang Charmant

There was dirt in the bathroom.

Getting to the motel can be a hassle because the nearby alley is crowded with cars, though I suppose that comes with the neighborhood. There is parking. Inside, the room was clean, had no odor, and the shower pressure was incredibly strong. I’ve tried a few different rooms, and their condition varies a lot. In winter, the round-bed room feels freezing, with cold air coming straight into the bed.

I rested well here, and it’s not far from Cheongju Airport. The bedding and floor were clean, and the hot water worked well. I was concerned the cigarette smell would be overpowering, but it wasn’t as bad as I expected. Still, it’s not a pleasant smell...^.^

The room itself was plain but clean and decent, with the basic disposable items like soap, lotion, razors, and toothbrushes. The building is striking, almost like a palace, and the white salt pillars inside and wooden doors make it feel unusual. Parking is roomy, with spaces in the building and in the vacant lot next door. Since it’s set away from the dining area, nights are fairly quiet, though cigarette odor could bother you if you’re sensitive to it.
