Yaja Hotel

The room was spacious, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient for the intercity bus terminal, cafes, and shopping malls. Those were the only good points for me. The hotel felt like an old dormitory, and the booking photos made it look much better than it was. Everything was battered and worn, with cracks, crooked power sockets, and an elevator that barely worked. My room was colder than outside, and cigarette smoke from neighboring rooms kept coming in. At night, an old leaking fridge switched on, while the exhaust fan rattled loudly. The air conditioner, TV, and computer didn't work. Outside the window was a wall with leaking pipes. There were ceiling stains, a broken shabby wardrobe, and old towels with holes. The hotel is on a seedy, untidy street with a pile of garbage nearby. Awful stay. Pick another nearby hotel instead of this worn-out, dorm-like place.
