Motel Yam

For the low price, the cleanliness was fine, and it's good value. The facilities aren't anything special, but it's right across from the city center, which is handy. I come often because it's close. When I book a Standard room, the size is unpredictable: sometimes large, sometimes small, and sometimes even smaller. The two smaller room types are both called Standard. Once, when Standard rooms were full, they gave me a Premier room, which was large.

The outside and inside were both disappointing, and the cigarette smell was so strong that I asked to switch rooms. They refused, so I had to open a window. I could see the sidewalk and stairs to the next building from there, which felt embarrassing. I came because of the good reviews and low price, but it was truly disappointing. I highly recommend it.

It's inexpensive and good, and I'm satisfied overall. I just didn't realize the supplies had to be bought separately.

A very cheap motel, suitable if you're traveling alone and only need somewhere to sleep.
