The hotel sits high up on the hills, so walking there takes some energy. It’s quite old, but the staff are friendly, and breakfast is good and cheap. A nice place to stay.

We spent one night here before Legoland. It’s a typical hotel for a tourist area, but the shower kept switching between hot and cold and should be improved. The woman at reception was kind and shared her lollipops with our kids. Thanks again.

The city view is good, but that seems to be the main thing going for it. The coffee shop was closed, and there was nowhere in the lobby to sit and meet people. They just seem proud of having been built in 1962.

The breakfast was fantastic, but the room was grim and had no air-conditioning. I couldn’t wait to leave. The ex president stayed here, though that’s not why he quit.

The rooms are a bit small, but comfortable, and you can walk into town in 10 minutes. The full breakfast was great, the best I’ve had in a long time.
