Visited in June 2024. I booked a last-minute trip to Gangchon and came across this pension while searching, so I reserved it. Gangchon has changed a lot since my last visit 25 years ago. The building was a little old, but incredibly clean, and the owner's dedication really showed. They treated me kindly and even offered to change my room. Best of all, it was peaceful and quiet, just right for a healing trip. By the way, the dog's name is Chorong. #GangchonInTheForest #GangchonTrip

The owner was really kind, and the service was great. We came on a family trip, and I’m already thinking we should come back this winter.

I booked a place to stay after a last-minute decision to leave Seoul for a trip. We got there around 5 PM and were greeted so warmly by the owner. It made for a really comfortable, restful stay.
