We had a double room with two single beds, a closet, a big private fridge, a washing machine, and a small sink. There’s no induction cooktop in the room, so cooking has to be done in the shared kitchen. The room was roomy and had a high ceiling, and even the dorm felt spacious, almost like having a private space compared with other small guest houses. For one night, they provided four small towels, two bottles of water, and two Chupachups candies. The owner was kind and honest, and helped us a lot with places to visit and eat. Breakfast is free and simple, with cereal, fresh eggs, milk, butter, and jam. Newly opened, and we had a wonderful stay, 5 out of 5.

Sue greets you every morning with a bright smile and is so friendly and kind. The common area is very clean and has the basics for preparing and eating small meals. I really enjoyed staying at the SH Guest House in Chuncheon, Korea, and would definitely return. It’s a quaint little family-owned B&B that I highly recommend.

From the seven-storey building, you get a good bird’s-eye view of the neighborhood. I also liked the keypad locks at both the main entrance and the room, since there’s no room key to worry about misplacing.
