Eden Foret Hotel

Our room stayed bright, clean, and comfortable. The hotel itself is new and well looked after. Rooms are compact, but the layout is thoughtful, with power points conveniently placed by the bed for charging phones. We were lucky to get a double room with a drying cabinet, which came in very handy after we got caught in the rain.

I came through on a Seoul to Busan bike trip and stayed one night without booking ahead. It was a pleasant stay, with a clean hotel and room and a bed in very good condition. They let me leave my bike in an inside room where they store things. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby, and the bike path is close. It felt like a more convenient place to relax than busy Chungju.

For a trip along the Four Rivers Route, this is a great option. The staff are attentive and friendly, and the hotel is new. I had nothing to complain about; it felt just right for the town.

I stayed a day while visiting a nearby hot spring. The building was clean, parking was plentiful, and the quiet setting was nice. Since there are hot springs in the area, I wish the hotel had its own clean public bath. They say there’s one at another hotel behind the parking lot, though some reviews say its facilities aren't very good. I was also a little disappointed there was no separate restaurant or coffee shop. This is more of a place to sleep.
