Ramada by Wyndham Suanbo

I often visit with my children because the water in Suanbo is good, but this time left me uneasy. I woke up to a mosquito, turned on my phone flashlight to look at the wall, and saw a cockroach. I told the front desk and they changed our room, so I had to carry my sleeping child to another room at 10:30 at night. I still can't shake the feeling. I think the place was recently renovated and reopened as a Ramada, so they need to pay attention to pest control if they want it to be remembered as a pleasant place to rest.

The room felt a bit old, though it was maintained well. The staff member was very kind, and the small mart is useful if you need to buy something. The indoor sauna also looks dated, but the water itself is quite good. For the price, it's a good value hotel, with a large parking lot and easy access.

We were cycling through and stopped to ask for help. The team, especially Kim Myoung Seok, went out of their way for us. I can't imagine that happening in London. I'd definitely book here next time I'm in the area.

The hot spring spa made up for the bathroom shortcomings. The room was oversized, and they could have used the space better by updating the bathroom; the tub's water pressure was low. Still, my first Korean community bathing experience was a great one.
