Blo By Blo Hotel

We arrived close to midnight without any problem, and the room was great. We stayed in the Blo by Blo room for four people. Just keep in mind that one person has to sleep on a futon on the second level, which may not suit anyone unaccustomed to that. I really liked the private terrace and the free coffee on the second level. :)

The air conditioning was weak, and the walls were so thin I could hear people talking in the next room. At 6 in the morning they started yelling and running around, which woke me up. People were also smoking in the hall, even though that’s supposed to be prohibited, and the smell got into my room. The rooms themselves were decent.

I stayed four nights, and the room was clean, the AC worked AMAZING, and the staff were friendly. It’s walkable to the subway, buses, and Camp Walker. I did ask for an early morning taxi, but ended up walking to my destination at 0430. To be fair, it was Chuseok (today), though I spotted a couple of taxis on the way. I’d give it about 4.75 :)

Great location, with lots of good restaurants nearby, including pickbuck burger restaurant. The rooms are great, and they gave us free toiletries. The bathroom has a small 3cm step between the toilet and shower, and we kept tripping over it. Front desk managers were friendly, welcoming, and kind, and the valet parked our car. Yeongnam uni. Hospital subway station is a five minute walk, gopchang street is 15 minutes on foot, Daegu station is eight minutes by subway, and banwoldang is five minutes by subway.
