The bathroom is separate from the bedroom, with the entryway between them. The tile floor gets very cold, so stepping in for a shower at first is chilly. There’s no elevator to the guesthouse floor, which makes hauling big luggage a bit of work. Still, it’s a good deal, and the room has underfloor heating plus an electric blanket that felt great in winter. The caretaker is a very elderly woman who doesn’t speak English and seems to have trouble seeing, but she is helpful. If you need toilet paper, try communicating with gestures. The usual basics are there, along with toothbrushes and toothpaste, condoms, separate men’s and women’s skincare and face wash, hairspray, insecticide, and bath sponges. The bathrobes or pajamas and combs felt like a bit much since they aren’t disposable. For the price, I’d recommend it.

I was there last November. It was comfortable and affordable, and had everything I needed. There’s no elevator.

The room itself was in decent shape, but the water pressure on the fourth floor was so weak that it was a problem for a motel.

The room’s on the small side, but I found it comfortable. The owner was really friendly.
