I was really happy with my stay. I was upgraded to a bright, spacious king corner suite with windows that open for fresh air. The room had an air dresser, and I especially appreciated the water filter machine. The welcome cookies and drink, lounge access, and breakfast were included for Titanium members. The lounge was on par with other Marriott lounges. The last photos are from breakfast, which I enjoyed. They made free-range eggs to order in any style, and there were various soups and a house-made souffle dessert. I finally got to try the peanut bread dessert I’d seen on Youtube. I liked the jellyfish salad, the farro salad, the nicely seasoned namul vegetables, the spinach crab nurunji soup, and the natto. I skipped the make-your-own noodle section. My only complaint is the strong artificial air freshener smell. I wish they’d get rid of it, since it can’t be good for your lungs.

Just a few minutes on foot from Dong Daegu Station. The breakfast selection is amazing, and the facilities are very well maintained. Marriott standard service.

I’d stay here again if I’m in the area. The gym is one of the best I’ve seen for weights, there are good places to eat nearby, and the staff were friendly. I booked two clean rooms for my family and stayed one night. The room was nice, though the new high-rise being built next door blocked the view. Daegu Marriott is close to Dong Daegu station, making subway and rail travel easy.

Every towel in the room smelled bad and had faded color, which made the hygiene feel poor. The front desk wait was long, and the employees came across as unprofessional, with poor customer service. The hotel operates more like a two-star place. I was highly dissatisfied with the work ethic and sanitation. I’m considering reporting Marriott International’s failure to follow business rules, since decisions based on individual tastes make customers feel unwelcome.
