Daegu Seongseo Healing

The room had a fair amount of space, but the bed was quite uncomfortable. There was a bidet in the bathroom, with towels hanging directly above the toilet. That bothered me because I couldn’t tell which had been cleaned first. At check-in and when we came down for breakfast, nobody was at the front desk. Breakfast was in the adjacent building, so you might have to go outside. It was fairly good, and with no staff around you serve yourself. I had a serious booking problem because Hotels.com didn’t list multiple Hound Hotels, as it did for Busan. The location was a big issue, so I contacted the hotel right away, but got no answer. Hotels.com couldn’t reach them after several tries either. Someone finally answered on a later attempt, but the hotel said they couldn’t communicate in English. Why are they on Hotels.com? Maybe they need someone to refer to in these situations. Hotels.com promised to follow up by email within 72 hours, but never did. I was still trying to keep my business with Hound hotels, since I’d had a much better stay at a Hound hotel in Busan. The service here was so poor that I wouldn’t return, and I’d be unlikely to choose another Hound hotel.

The location is great, with cafes and restaurants just a few steps away. The rooms were clean and spacious, and there’s a carpark where they suggested I leave my bicycle under the CCTV.

The staff were kind, everything was clean and new, and breakfast was great. Paying with cash gets you a discount! 😁

I had a really nice time here. The staff were nice, and I enjoyed the great breakfast.
