There are plenty of places to eat, drink, and have fun nearby, and it seems better suited to couples than families with small kids. The hotel is in the middle of the Red Light Entertainment District, and the parking garage is a very dark subway-style garage. It's also a long way from downtown Daegu's tourist areas. The bathroom has no privacy, and the A/C is hard to control. Expedia charged 170,000 won a night, which felt far too high. I'd recommend it below 100,000 won.

On my second visit, I couldn't find the TV remote, which seems to be missing, and found rubbish, including tissues, behind the furniture. The PC monitor in that room wouldn't turn on. The bathroom was bigger and the room less cluttered, but the bright light was still there. I liked the wall art, even though it made no sense, and ended up sleeping with a spinning LG standby screensaver on the TV because there was no way to turn it off. My first room had a PC that looked like a gaming machine, but it was running Windows XP and had a very blurry monitor. The bed was comfortable, and I liked the bedside controls for the lights once I figured out which button did what. The bubbly bath was nice, though its jets were too strong and we switched them off immediately. The blue light above it was too bright for my girlfriend and made her uncomfortable, and I thought it was too bright as well, though that might have been specific to our room. The area was very noisy, and we were often woken up. Staff seemed friendly, and one person took my luggage when we arrived too early.

The VIP room wasn't anything special. Having the toilet and shower in the same small area wasn't ideal, though the stay was okay overall.
