Hotel Susung

Update: I’m taking off a star because you have to pay for sunbeds, and even when the weather is good and it’s a quiet period, the pool doesn’t open until 15.00. That’s much too late. The hotel has a great infinity pool and a decent breakfast. It’s a good choice if you want somewhere quieter, though it can get crowded on weekends. It is somewhat far from downtown. There are lots of international guests, but unfortunately the staff know very little English.

I stayed in a mountain view suite with a large tub and sauna. The bed was firm and the temperature control worked well. The rooftop infinity pool gave great views, but it only opens from 3pm to 8pm. One downside for international travellers: there are no travel outlets in the room.

The pool water level is too low. When I asked the man in the lobby where the smoking areas were, he said there weren’t any, but there’s actually a smoking area in the parking lot. What the...

We stayed about a month after the grand opening. The newer part of the hotel connects to an older section. The whole room and bathroom have heated floors, and the place is very clean. Breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend!
