The host is incredibly friendly, speaks great English, and knows a lot about local options for tourists. If your Korean is as bad as mine, you’ll have no trouble. It’s maybe a 10 minute walk from Jungangrong station, right in the middle of Daegu’s oriental medicine district. The medicine museum and Daegu Jeil Church are right outside, with lovely cafes, boutiques, and restaurants nearby. The place has a relaxed, casual atmosphere, with soft music playing outside and classic decor. Highly recommended.

The owner made my time in Daegu better than any article or guide could. He even helped me find a nearby gym and laundromat, and called the gym to check that I could go. My room was always cleaned, and the location is central, with buses and train stations within walking distance. Since buses take you to more attractions in Daegu than the subway, Bomgoro is ideally placed near the routes tourists need.
