The room itself was better than I expected, with plenty of space, good cleanliness, and a well-kept bathroom. Hot water took a little while to come through, but it did warm up after a few minutes. The one-night rate was very affordable. Getting into the room was a rough start. There was nobody at the check-in desk, just a phone number, and nobody answered when I called. I waited around half an hour before someone showed up, which was disappointing and colored the experience. It felt like a case of getting what you pay for, but I’d still recommend it as a budget-friendly hotel.

The location worked well for me: Daegu station is about a 10-minute walk, while downtown around Banwoldang and Jungangno stations is 20-30 minutes away on foot. The rooms and furnishings are dated, but everything was clean and worked fine. For what I paid, it was worth it, as long as you don’t expect too much. I’d stay here again.

Daegu Station is conveniently close, about a 5-10 minute walk. The basics were pretty limited, though: the toilet light stopped working on the day we checked in, and the bedside lights were faulty too. We asked for no room service, then came back to find the room had been cleaned without our knowledge. The staff also couldn’t speak decent English.

It was quiet and warm, with clean rooms and firm beds. The bathtub was extra large, with a separate shower. The welcome from the staff was cordial, and it’s close to downtown and all transportation.
