CERVO

There are basic coffee and snacks by the first-floor reception, and the staff are friendly. The interior looks modern, and the room amenities are neat. It's clean, too. Parking is limited to about 10 cars. If you arrive late, you can park on the roadside in front or ask the front desk for valet parking.

The room was decent, and the owner, or whoever seemed to be the owner, was kind. I was in Daejeon for a business trip and parked on a nearby street because the lot wasn't very large, but that wasn't a big problem. There was a strong cigarette smell in the bathroom. The massage chair was handy for easing the day's fatigue, and the price was good for what I got.

The room and bedding were very clean, and it felt like great value. There was a faint smell on the first day, possibly from the previous guest smoking. I thought about asking to change rooms, but stayed put.

The sink is set outside the bathroom, which I didn't like, but otherwise it was good. The owner seemed to be putting real effort into keeping the place up.
