For 60,000 krw a night when I posted this, it was clean, quiet, and nicely equipped for the price. The rooms and hallways are roomy compared with most Korean love hotels, and there’s underground parking. It had recently been remodeled. It’s a motel in the middle of an expensive shopping district in Daejon.

The bed was soft, the room clean, and the attendant polite and helpful. Nice hotel for the price, with free underground parking. It was newly remodeled in 2016.

It’s right in the middle of a busy area, so noise is an issue. The rooms were dirty: hair was scattered around, the air conditioner was moldy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned, and the bathroom was worn out, including a damaged bathtub. We had booked five rooms. The owner said only three were available to move us into larger rooms, which wasn’t true, and after arguing we were finally given our regular rooms. We were also told to leave without staying if we weren’t happy.

The building also has entertainment businesses, and the noise at night, especially karaoke, was hard to deal with. The rooms are old; they may be kept up, but you can still tell how old they are. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location was good, but the place felt old and neglected. My room smelled fresh, yet an outdoor air conditioner ran loudly all night and kept waking me up.
