Gangneung Big Island Pension

The location and view were great, but the place seemed poorly maintained. The towels I got at check-in were damp, and I think I had to call five times before asking for replacements. They said they'd be on their way, but it took a while. The elevator smelled old, too. I also kept hearing a thumping sound through the weak soundproofing. I couldn't tell whether it was the elevator closing or the next door shutting.

There's a play space beside the shop, a bit like a kids' cafe, where children can run around while you have coffee or tea. It's a nice spot to bring a baby, though I wish the corners were a little cleaner.

The sea is right in front, so the view is lovely. Just make sure to buy groceries beforehand, since there's only a convenience store nearby.

The cafe has plenty of parking, and there's a children's play area too. Both are nice.
