I’m writing this at 2:30 a.m. because I can’t sleep. The mattress is so hard it feels like concrete, and when I asked the sleeping desk attendant about moving to a room with a different bed, she said every room has the same mattress. If getting a good night’s sleep matters to you, I’d avoid this place. The hotel is very old, with no air conditioning in the hallways or elevator. The towels are only hand-sized. My room looked toward the beach, but power lines cut right across the view.

The location is great, close to the beach, and there’s free parking with a CU convenience store next door. The place is clean, though the bed is hard and things feel a little dated. The guy at the front seemed nice, but they only speak Korean. They provide great shampoo and body wash, plus nice-smelling lotion and perfume for guests.

The front desk staff were really friendly, and the rooms are good. It’s closer to the sea than the other hotels around here.
