Mangsang Beach Pension

The East Sea beach is right below, and the daytime view is lovely, even for sunrise. At night, though, you can't see much out over the water, like at any beach. For food, Hanyang Pavilion Restaurant is 2.7 kilometers south, up in the sky lounge of the Oncheon Hotel; it serves grilled fish sets and different soups, and both the food and atmosphere were great. The building is old, but the motel is kept up pretty well. My weekday stay was reasonably priced, and ocean views like this are hard to find. The room, bathroom, and tub show their age, but they were clean and caused no real hassle. My only issue was that there was no bidet in the toilet. There aren't many places to eat nearby. I recommend that restaurant.

It was cold outside when I visited, so I was glad the room stayed warm. The bedding was clean and the room was in good shape. I didn't get any interior photos, but the place was bigger and cleaner than it looked in the app, even with a few signs of age. Four adult men could sleep comfortably in there.

The service was good and the location worked well for me. It's a little dated, but clean and pleasant inside. Better than I expected, and worth 5 out of 5 for the price.

You can see the sea from the room, which makes the location really nice. The outside looks a bit old, but the inside is tidy, and the air conditioning works great. I was happy with the stay overall. There aren't shops close by, though a convenience store and Mangsang Beach are both about a 5-minute drive away.
