The beach is very close, and it's easy to walk to the bus stop. This is a comfortable, clean, convenient, and inexpensive guesthouse, and the owners are sweet. One thing to know: the girls' bathroom showers have no doors, only a thin curtain, with two curtains for three showers. Breakfast is entirely Korean style :)

The host was cheerful and friendly, and the accommodation was very clean, with nice interior decoration and free parking in the yard. It's a quiet area, about 10 minutes by taxi from Gangneung Station - Gangneung Station, costing # 7,000W. Breakfast is traditional Korean food, rice with dishes made from Tofu and Kimchi. There is one men's bathroom upstairs and two women's bathrooms on the 1st floor. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, though you can't swim there because of the many reefs. There are lovely coffee shops and seafood restaurants along the coast. Tofu is a regional specialty, so it's worth visiting the nearby restaurant area, Chodang Soft Tofu Village (Chodang Sundubu Village), about a 10-minute walk away. The Tofu ice cream is also very delicious.
