It’s a budget place in a good location, with a decent bed and shower. Service was so-so, though the staff were friendly. The rooms could use updating.

The place felt unsafe and dirty. If you arrive even a little late at night, there are few people around and hardly any streetlights. The hallways are cluttered with junk like an abandoned building, and nobody was at reception. There seemed to be a lot of men there hoping for a one-night stand. Drunk men wandered in and out of the building until 2 AM, watching people like jackals. The party went on until then too, with vibrations and speakers carrying through the whole building. It was hard to sleep even if I tried to treat it as white noise. Men kept going in and out of rooms to pee, brush their teeth, spray perfume, or change clothes, and after 2 AM the ones who hadn’t found anyone came back to the rooms to chat, looking disappointed. The place wasn’t clean, from the smell and exterior to the bedding. The plumbing under the bathroom sink was badly worn, with the inside structure exposed. The pillow reeked of Febreze, and the window looked so cloudy and unclean that I could barely see outside. Lying down, I felt dampness under the duvet, and cookie crumbs left by someone poked at me. Same-day booking might be difficult. The staff member who answered the phone sounded very annoyed and unfriendly. There’s no shampoo or body wash.

I stayed in a caravan. It’s okay if all you need is a place to sleep and take a quick wash, but hygiene was lacking. Hair was rolling around in several spots, though I didn’t see any bugs. The caravan door gave me a strong electric shock every time I touched it, so the grounding may be faulty. They should look into fixing that. Apart from these issues, it’s adequate for a basic overnight stay.

I’ve stayed at countless guesthouses because I like traveling alone, and this was the only one that left me disappointed. The pool was closed since summer season had ended. The party was listed at 20,000 won, but when I asked there, the price was 25,000 won, and the staff seemed a bit rude. The guesthouse staff also had to look after the convenience store, so the seats were often empty. When I went to the store, I sometimes had to wait ten minutes. There were no partitions in the room, so I was exposed while I went to get breakfast, but nobody was there and no one explained anything, so I just left.
