The stream behind the property and the mountain lodge feel made it easy to unwind, and we had a lot of fun with the dogs and cats. The owners were kind and helped us feel comfortable throughout our stay. We came as a couple on the last weekend of August 2025. I was uneasy about the low rating, but the place turned out to be comfortable and better than I expected. It suits people looking for a warm, cozy stay in nature more than anyone expecting hotel style bedding and polished amenities. 😌🍃🐶😻☁️💗

The facilities were poor. If you plan to cook, bring a gas burner. There was only one hot plate, and it was too weak to even heat water properly. I called on the morning of our reservation while we were on the way to ask about barbecue, and was told it wasn't available. The staff were friendly, but I have no desire to come back. It was so disappointing that I didn't even want to take photos.

There wasn't any sunlight in the room, and it felt small and dated for what it cost. It was pricier than Remember elsewhere, and staying there was a bit inconvenient.

That price was shocking, and the whole day stuck with me because of the even more surprising experience. I was so taken aback I had to grab the back of my neck and lower my blood pressure.
