I really like this place. It’s very nice.

We watched the river from the veranda and had a drink there, and it was also a good spot for a barbecue for four. The view was amazing. Inside, there was a mat in the living room that gave us room to run around. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, it worked really well for a group trip.
The owner was friendly, and there’s a convenience store right beside the place, with different recreational facilities downstairs. The room itself was clean and roomy, and the outdoor barbecue was easy to use. The only thing that let it down was the induction cooktop, which was too weak.
I liked how much space there was, and the room was clean. The soft floor mats and having two refrigerators were thoughtful touches. We had a really good stay and didn’t run into any inconveniences.
At night, the sky is clear enough to see constellations that you can’t see in Seoul, and the view over the Bukhan River from the pension is lovely. In summer there are various leisure activities by the river, though it was off-season when I visited, so I skipped the 75,000 won Japanese meal. They provide barbecue charcoal, and you can pick up food at the E-Mart convenience store next door. Bring basics like a toothbrush and soap, and don’t cook indoors. The high ceilings and small windows make ventilation poor, which is one of the problems with this style of building and makes it inconvenient. The guest room is a duplex, with a high ceiling and the bedroom upstairs, reached by a very small staircase. Like many pensions in this area, it sits right by the river, which you can see through the window.
