There are a few things to keep in mind here. Some sites aren't separated, so it can feel crowded, and the amenities are way at the far end. The shaded area at the foot of the mountain doesn't get sunlight. Tree sap might stain your tent, though I'm not sure what kind of tree it is. When it's busy, the grass field and foot volleyball court don't work well. Tents spill over onto the grass sites, leaving no room to kick the ball. If you don't like children, you might want to book elsewhere, since a ball could fly into your site. The campsite staff are friendly, but cleanup isn't done right away. Driving from Seoul can be tiring because the route gets very congested, so be prepared for traffic.

The kids had room to play on the broad lawn, and there’s a shallow stream too. The facilities were average. Camping was inexpensive at 30,000 won a night, but it was confusing because the camping areas weren’t clearly organized and nobody explained things like general trash or ash disposal. Not bad, but a bit unclear how things work.

The room had a refrigerator leaking water inside, and sleeping there left my body aching. We only got two thin bedding sheets per person. There weren’t any beautiful mountains or streams nearby either. It felt bleak, and hardly like a pension at all.

The owners were so kind, and we had a really relaxing stay. We grilled meat on the terrace of our second-floor room at the Grass Field Guesthouse, with the lush green mountains right in front of us. It tasted even better with that view.
