The owner was really friendly and easy to deal with. The place itself is quiet, with a convenience store about 100m away and the ocean roughly 200m on foot, so it made a great base for exploring the island. The rooms were clean and set up well, with a small balcony and a kitchen with a fridge, kettle, microwave, and everything else I needed. I could see the mountains from the balcony and the sky through the roof windows. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend it. 👍

The outdoor area is small, the facilities feel a little old, and the terrace view isn't much. There's no trash bin, so you have to ask the manager if you can clean up the following day. That's apparently common at pensions around here, but this didn't feel like a place for a pleasant overnight stay.

You can fish right in front, and the owner is a real fishing master. The place was clean, the owner was friendly, and I was completely satisfied. Truly the best!

The bedding, towels, and furnishings were all replaced during the remodel, so everything felt new, clean, and tidy. Hakdong Mongdol Beach is just 30 seconds away. Relaxing to the sound of the waves was lovely.
