I loved the quiet setting, the beautiful view, and having the sea right in front. The owner keeps the old pension very clean. My only complaints are its age and the tiny charcoal grill. It really ought to be at least twice as big. I especially wonder if scallops would just burn if you grilled them all day...
The quiet setting, seaside view, and sunsets are the big draws here. At low tide, you can gather clams and snails, and it seems like good value too. The pension is on the tip of Chilcheondo Island in Geoje, with three duplex rooms upstairs and the owners living on the first floor. The rooms suit four people. The kitchen is cramped, with the induction cooktop, refrigerator, and microwave all bunched together, which makes it awkward to use. You also can't grill meat on the terrace, so you have to barbecue at the dining table on the first floor.
Feels like Grandma's house out in the country. The scenery is so good it doesn't need a filter, haha. The owner is friendly and will provide what you need, but bring your own basic seasonings and toiletries.
Geoje Chilcheondo Daegok Village Seven Pension is a wonderful place. The sea is right in front, which makes it especially nice. /^^ ^^^
The owner's wife is so kind, and her aged kimchi is delicious. The view is lovely too.
