The ocean view was lovely, and I got the peace and quiet I was hoping for. It’s a small, cozy pension rather than a five-star hotel, but it suited me well. I needed to charge my electric car, and the owner kindly let me use her extension cord, which reached the parking lot. She was very welcoming, and I’d recommend staying here.
We paid 80,000 won for the Mint couple room for one night on June 25. It’s upstairs, so the view feels better and the room a little more private than Papaya, the other couple room on the first floor. There’s no terrace, but I moved the dining table to the window and ate with a real sea view. The bathroom is tiny. It’s an older pension, though the price is low and the facilities had no particular problems. From the sea-facing slope you can see little islands, with goats and what might have been ducks or geese wandering around. Bring mosquito repellent.
Spending time here with family and taking in the sights was lovely. The scenery is beautiful, and I’d happily come back often.
