The facilities were a bit old, but the owner’s care made the stay enjoyable. The pension sits partway up the mountain across from Mongdol Beach, so the view was great. I could really feel the owner’s warmth, especially when he even came out to see us off.

The room only had one bed, and the service was average. Hakdong Mongdol Pension is in a good location, though.

The facilities feel a little dated, but the owner is friendly and the front yard is nice. It’s a bit farther from the beach, though the view is great.

Getting there by car was difficult because the place is so remote. I also couldn’t sleep at all: noise from the next room came straight through the poor soundproofing. The facilities felt old and outdated.
